I'm Mikael, a wildlife and nature photographer based in Southern Finland.

My photography journey has only recently started as I bought my first "real" camera back in 2019 and began to explore various genres of photography. It all began with a simple click, but little did I know that it would evolve into a lifelong passion.

I quickly discovered my passion for wildlife and nature photography. In 2022, I began studying it at Axxell, set to graduate by the end of 2024.

A brief history

Ever since I was little, I have been interested in animals. Every time we went to the summer cottage I hoped we would see some animal along the narrow dirt road that led to the cottage.

And that is probably one of the reasons why now as an adult I am also interested in animals and nature.

Although my main focus is wildlife and nature, I also photograph a little bit something else from time to time as you can see in my portfolio.
